Welcome to Peter Eyre's Space

Thank you for joining my space. The world is truly a remarkable and beautiful place but somehow we have lost our direction. Why can't we all get on together and live in peace? Why so much agression and no compassion or love for each other? Why do our leaders want to wage war in order to gain an economic advantage in controlling the natural resources of our planet? Why do such nations as the USA allow the manufacturing of weapons containing uranium components and yet profess that they are promoting disarmament? Who do they, the UK, European Countries and Israel insist in using these WMD's. I sincerely wanted to welcome you all in such a very nice and gentle way but I carry so much pain for the innocent men, women and children of past and current war zones that have sucumbed to these evil uranium weapons. We must all try to prohibit DU/EU or any other "Dirty Weapon" and learn to live in peace. We in the west have to close all bases that exist on Islamic soil and learn to trade instead of fighting. So I again welcome you to "Peter's Space" If you support war in any shape or form please do not enter my space. If you are a Christian Zionist or Jewish Zionist please do not enter my space. If however you are against war and any form of intimidation you are most welcome to take over my space.

Pro Israel lobby stands behind Livni and mocks our judicial system

Pro Israel lobby stands behind Livni and mocks our judicial system

It was only a matter of time before the politicians that were helped into office by the Friends of Israel Brigade started defending their investments for the next election.
I guess with the aftermath of “Cast Lead” one could refer to these backhanders as blood money.

After the announcement that Livni almost got herself arrested when planning a trip to London has now become a political football with Gordon Brown putting in his token comments with the obvious support of David Miliband as one would expect.
We see headlines such as this suddenly appear: “Britain vows to end arrest threats to Israeli VIPs” - Britain pledged Tuesday to reform a peculiar legal power that lets judges order the arrest of visiting politicians and generals. I find our leaders are surely a law unto themselves when they manipulate the law to secure their own future. Could it be that Gordon Brown himself could be implicated in such a case one day? You know there is a clear understanding in this world that if you have done nothing wrong there is nothing to fear.
I guess when your foreign secretary takes a biased approach in announcing that Britain would no longer tolerate legal harassment of Israeli officials in this fashion we must assume that all war criminals are above the law. When Miliband went on to say that the British government was determined that arrest threats against visitors of Livni's stature would not happen again.
One can only assume that our gallant Foreign Secretary will be well funded in time for his next bid for re election……especially when he said "Israel is a strategic partner and a close friend of the United Kingdom. We are determined to protect and develop these ties,” "Israeli leaders — like leaders from other countries — must be able to visit and have a proper dialogue with the British government."….ok so lets just hold it there for one moment…..does that mean Chevez or Magabe receive the same “Stature”
Perhaps Livni has some unexplained background that allows her to get away with war crimes…….I guess her ex boss, former Director of Mossad, Ephraim Halevy knew her well when he quoted “She was in an elite unit,” Operating out of Paris in those days saw many assassinations. Both her parents were Irgun fighters (Terrorists) and both believed passionately in “Zionism” in its extreme form and the idea of a Greater Israel.
I guess that’s British politics at its best….fill my purse and take your pound of flesh! What’s ironic about these perverse politics is that it borders on corruption at the highest level and yet Brown and Miliband have the audacity to tell Karsai to get his shop in order! Perhaps one could relate to Miliband as being a servant to Shylock in “The Merchant of Venice”…..taking his money to remain in office but then having to hand over his pound of flesh!........could that flesh be the lives of the people of Gaza?
Before leaving “The Merchant of Venice” lets glance upon the words spoken in another play “Julius Caesar” (also by William Shakespeare) when Mark Antony said "The evil that men do lives after them” I am sure that our Foreign Secretary will find his “Eutopia” along with Gordon Brown with Shylocks help!
Being British makes one feel so proud to know that we are a country of fair play and justice…..was that this century or last?
